What will I learn from the Virtual Browser Technical Training program?

This 1 day training session will give you the knowledge necessary to plan, deploy, configure and put into production the Virtual Browser solution according to your customer’s needs.


Who should attend?

The training program is targeted at technical sales and support engineers working for Virtual Browser resellers and integrators.


What are the pre-requisites?

Participants should be knowledgeable in the following fields:

- System and network management

- Network, server and end-point security techniques

- Installation and management of VMware ESX/ESXi virtualization solutions


Program?

Morning:

- Introduction, logistics

- Review of the principal information security threats targeting the enterprise

- Introduction to the Virtual Browser solution: system architecture, deployment models, configuration and management


Afternoon :

- Hands-on lab session: based on a simplified RFP simulating a customer case, participants working individually will configure and test a Virtual Browser deployment according to four specific criteria.

- In-depth analysis of recent attack methods

- Review of material covered during the day

- Multiple-choice certification test


Training program logistics and infrastructure

Method and materials : small classroom (typically 6 – 8 participants) based on PowerPoint presentation developed by commonIT (available to participants), plus hands-on lab (approx. 30% of classroom time)

Equipment : Classroom with wireless network, internet connectivity, video projector, and a server preconfigured with VMware ESX, a virtual machine for each participant and the additional services necessary for the lab session.

Delivery : taught by an experienced training specialist with expert knowledge of the technologies covered.
